David Peyser Sportswear, through its MV Sport division, is a leading supplier of custom decorated apparel and accessories to the college bookstore and resort markets. The Game is headquartered in Phenix City, AL, and David Peyser Sportswear is headquartered in Bay Shore, NY.


Unisync Group Limited, one of the largest direct suppliers of corporate apparel and workwear under the York and Hammill brands in Canada, has been acquired by ComWest Group, which, through its ownership in Peerless Garments, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of technical apparel for the Canadian military.
Unisync Group is a portfolio holding of Kilmer Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm headquartered in Toronto, ON. Unisync Group is headquartered in Guelph, ON and ComWest Group is headquartered in Vancouver, BC.


Atlas Carpet Mills, Inc., a leading commercial broadloom carpet manufacturer, has been acquired by The Dixie Group. The Dixie Group (Nasdaq: DXYN), based in Chattanooga, TN, manufactures and markets carpet and rugs to residential and commercial customers.

5th & Ocean Clothing, Inc., a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of high quality ladies’, girls’ and men’s fitted activewear under leading sport and active lifestyle licenses has been acquired by New Era Cap Company, a global headwear and apparel designer.


Dessy Marketing & Distribution, Inc., d.b.a. The Dessy Group, a leading supplier of bridesmaid and special occasion gowns, has entered into a licensing agreement for bridal products and men’s formalwear accessories with Pantone, a subsidiary of X-Rite.
Pantone is the world–renowned authority on color.


O’Bryan Bros. Inc., d.b.a. Cuddl Duds, a leading supplier of branded women’s intimate apparel, daywear, warmwear and loungewear, has been acquired by The Komar Co., a family-owned marketer and distributor of sleepwear under the Aria, Earth Angels, and Planet Sleep brands, as well several designer licenses.
O’Bryan Bros. is the market leader in women’s warmwear and sells product under the Cuddl Duds®, Cuddl Johns®, Hidden Assets™, and Lorraine® brands, as well as several co-branded labels via exclusive agreements with large retail customers.


Gekko Brands, LLC, d.b.a. The Game and Kudzu, a leading supplier of branded and licensed headwear, has been acquired by Delta Apparel, Inc. (NYSE: DLA), an international design, manufacturing, sourcing and marketing company that features a diverse portfolio of high quality branded and private label activewear.
Gekko Brands sells primarily to collegiate bookstores, outdoor and sporting goods retailers, as well as to corporations and entertainment complexes.


Ashworth, Inc., a leading designer of on-course golf apparel and golf-inspired lifestyle sportswear, has been acquired by TaylorMade adidas Golf Company, a subsidiary of German sporting goods supplier, adidas AG.
Ashworth sells to golf specialty stores, sporting goods retailers, resort shops, department stores, green grass pro shops, and through its own retail outlet locations.


The Augusta Sportswear Group, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of athletic-oriented apparel, team uniforms, sportswear and related accessories, was acquired by an investor group led by Quad-C Management, Inc., a leading private equity firm, and Augusta Management.
Augusta Sportswear sells to sporting goods and team uniform dealers, decorators and distributors.


Tail, Inc., a branded designer and marketer of upscale women’s tennis and golf apparel, was acquired by Great Circle Ventures Holdings, LLC.
Tail sells primarily through specialty apparel stores, sporting goods retailers, resort shops, and green grass pro shops.


Royal Robbins, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Phoenix Footwear Group, Inc. (AMEX: PXG) and a leading supplier of branded men’s and women’s outdoor and lifestyle apparel, has been acquired by the Kellwood Company (NYSE: KWD), a leading designer and marketer of apparel.


Cutter & Buck, Inc., a leading designer and marketer of top quality corporate and golf apparel, has been acquired by New Wave Group, a publicly-traded Swedish corporate promotional products supplier.
Cutter & Buck sells to golf specialty stores, promotional products distributors, specialty retailers and direct-to-consumer via the company’s catalog and website.


KSYR, Inc., d.b.a. ASHRO Lifestyles, a leading direct marketer of apparel and accessories targeting African-American women, was acquired by The Swiss Colony, Inc., a leading direct marketer of food and other consumer products.


Holloway Sportswear, Inc., a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of quality team and active apparel, was acquired by The Augusta Sportswear Group, a manufacturer and distributor of activewear, team uniforms, and collegiate apparel.

Eastern Pacific Apparel, Inc., d.b.a. EP Pro, the leading supplier of women's golf apparel to the green grass distribution channel, was acquired by Summit Golf Brands, a holding company owning Fairway & Greene Ltd., a leading supplier of men's golf apparel.

The John Forsyth Shirt Company Ltd., d.b.a. Forsyth of Canada, Inc., one of the premier suppliers of woven dress and sport shirts in North America, has acquired 100% of the stock of PremiumWear, Inc., a unit of Deluxe Corporation.
PremiumWear is a leading designer and supplier of knit and woven apparel to the promotional products and golf markets.

Exclusively Misook, Inc., a designer and marketer of upscale women’s knit sportswear sold through better department and specialty stores, was acquired by Hartmarx Corporation, a NYSE-listed men’s and women’s apparel company.


Knight Textile Corporation, a manufacturer of junior’s, missy, and children’s apparel to leading mass retailers, warehouse clubs and department stores, has completed a sale transaction with The Millwork Trading Co. Ltd., a member of the Li & Fung Group.


Royce Hosiery Mills, Inc., a designer and marketer of brand name hosiery, was acquired by Keystone Holdings, LLC, a private equity firm. Royce Hosiery sells to department stores, national chains, and volume-moderate retailers.


The M.J. Soffe Company, a manufacturer of branded knit activewear, has merged with Delta Apparel, Inc., an AMEX-listed sportswear and t-shirt manufacturer.
Soffe sells to sporting goods stores and team dealers, the military, department stores and college bookstores.


Fashion Ventures LLC has completed a transaction with Christian Casey LLC, d.b.a. Sean John, which also involved an equity investment by The Yucaipa Companies, a leading private equity firm.


Brumlow Mills, Inc., a leading supplier of bath and accent rugs, sold its bath rugs assets to Mohawk Industries, a NYSE-listed home textiles and floor coverings producer.


The Manufacturing and Marketing Division of Angelica Corporation, a NYSE-listed company providing uniforms, textile rental and laundry services to various service industries, sold its healthcare uniform apparel business to Medline Industries, Inc., the leading direct supplier of medical products, equipment and textiles to the healthcare industry.

Duck Head Apparel Company, Inc., a supplier of men’s and boy’s branded sportswear, was acquired by Tropical Sportswear International Corporation, a Nasdaq-listed apparel company.


Consolidated Apparel Group, LLC, a supplier of men’s moderate sportswear, was acquired by Hartmarx Corporation, a NYSE-listed men’s and women’s apparel company. Consolidated Apparel sells to department stores.

The Moore Company, a private diversified holding company, formed a joint venture with Gizatex, S.A. de C.V. to establish a narrow elastic fabric operation in Mexico.


Import Specialists, Inc., a leading home textile importer and portfolio company of Pearl Corporation of Australia, was acquired by Dan River Inc., a NYSE-listed producer of apparel and home furnishings.
